Top Five Reasons to Choose Lincoln Archives for Your Shredding Needs
At Lincoln Archives, we take pride in truly understanding an organization needs and doing whatever we can for our clients. As you have many national and local options for your destruction needs, we invite you to check out the below aspects as to what makes our shredding services different.
Top Five Reasons to Choose LAI for Your Shredding Needs:
1. We’re NAID AAA Certified and have Certified Secure Document Specialists
NAID AAA Certified:
As you may have seen this phrase throughout most of our marketing, having this certification means we abide by many requirements through The National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). NAID is the watchdog of the shredding industry. They act as an independent auditor, checking a shredding company’s compliance in 22 critical areas, including everything from shred size to employee background checks. NAID awards their highest rating, “AAA Certified,†to shredding companies that offer the highest level of information security. In fact, only a handful of shredding companies in our area have been AAA Certified by NAID. We’re proud to be the only family-owned local company that is NAID AAA Certified.
As part of our certification, Lincoln Archives performs pre-employment criminal background checks and ongoing background checks for all employees, on a bi-annual basis. We also conduct drug tests of every single member of our organization and submit to an independent auditor to be reviewed by NAID representatives.
Certified Secure Document Specialists
Awarded to “acknowledge an individual's competency in a range of subject areas related to the secure destruction of informationâ€, Lincoln Archives is proud to have two CSDS members on staff, especially considering only 7% of NAID-member shredding companies have a one CSDS on staff.
2. We offer Multiple Service Options
One-Time or Recurring
If you just to clear out end of the year papers or want locked security consoles in your offices, our multiple service options offer unique ways to best meet a company’s needs. Most services have the option to be done off-site or on-site.
On-Site vs Off-Site:
On-site shredding means all confidential materials are shredded on-site, at your location. Off-site shredding means that all material is brought back to the company’s facility for shredding. If your organization requires that you witness the shredding process, then you should choose on-site shredding. If you’re looking for a more cost-effective option, while NEVER sacrificing security then off-site shredding is your best choice.
3. Offer a Quick Turn-Around.
Large, national shredding companies are usually not very flexible when it comes to adjusting their service schedules to meet your needs. After we work with you decide which service is best, where to shred, and receive authorization, our time frame is normally within the 7 days that follow.
There’s many times where if a client needs a service on the following day, we can make it happen.
4. We’re a full-service information security company
A full-service information security company does more than just shred paper. They also provide hard drive and backup tape shredding, and other information security services including document storage, document scanning, backup tape vaulting, and Cloud-based backup and recovery.
5. We’re LOCAL & Family Owned and Operated
According to Local Works, 73 cents of every dollar you spend with a local company stays in the local economy, compared to only 43 cents when you buy from a national company. As mentioned above, your focus is our focus. With our shredding events a part of our line of services, we support many organization as they host “Shred-A-Thons†to assist fellow community members in disposing confidential information.
Lincoln Archives is the ONLY Family Owned, LOCAL (WNY) Company that provides NAID AAA Certified SECURE DOCUMENT SHREDDING. Lincoln Archives is a member of Lincoln Family of Companies serving the Buffalo community since 1914.
