Lincoln Archives / LACyber Acquires The Shred Center, Expanding Secure Destruction Services into Southern Tier

Lincoln Archives, Inc. / LACyber, a leading Western New York provider of secure information destruction and cybersecurity services, is pleased to announce the acquisition of The Shred Center of Jamestown, NY. The transaction closed on January 29, 2026, with Lincoln Archives beginning service to Shred Center clients on February 3, 2026.

This strategic acquisition expands Lincoln Archives’ regional footprint into the Southern Tier—an area previously outside its primary service territory—while strengthening its comprehensive coverage across Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse.

With this acquisition, approximately 100 Shred Center clients are now welcomed into the Lincoln Archives family and will receive NAID AAA Certified Information Destruction services, the highest security certification in the industry. Clients will continue to receive secure document shredding services, along with expanded access to:

• Secure destruction of hard drives, solid state drives, and other memory storage devices
• Electronics and computer recycling
• Community shredding events and fundraising programs
• Cybersecurity and data protection products and services

The acquisition also enhances service continuity for organizations with multiple office locations throughout Western New York and the Southern Tier, enabling them to consolidate vendors and rely on one trusted provider for secure information destruction and cybersecurity solutions.

Beyond enhancing our secure destruction and cybersecurity capabilities, this acquisition further expands the value of the Lincoln Family of Companies.
