“Operation: Stop Scams” a Success
As our on-site mobile shredding truck began its journey to destroy confidential documents for more than 700 people, we wanted to share the success of three shredding events and how any business or organization can have the same success.
Our first stop was in Clarence on Earth Day, Saturday April 22nd. To add in the efforts to protect our environment, we’re proud to always recycle 100% of destroyed materials. On the follwoing Monday, I was happy to receive several calls from clients asking for information on upcoming events and additional services. We’re ecstatic to receive this reaction from the first few shredding events of the season.
Continuing on, our truck made a stop in Depew for the first of two AARP events for their “Operation: Stop Scams” and Fight Back Against Fraud initiative. Despite rainy conditions, we gathered confidential documents from over 200 cars in the first two hours which signified the shared focus on properlly destorying docuemnts containing personally identifiable information.
For our last stop of the week, we traveled to Rochester to provide services for over 500 cars. We’re thankful for all the volunteers that allowed for the great success of this event. Video of the event was captured by News 8 WROC Rochester.
As we hosted events in 2016 for AARP and look forward to hosting more in the upcoming years, we would like to share this success with other community organizations and businesses. To book an event, visit our Shred Event page or call 716-871-7040.
